Spatebeck Arch

Down in the valley, an old humpbacked packhorse bridge spans a peaty beck in full spate, a lantern swinging on its parapet. Winning pictures are rinsed off the reels, fresh ones tumble down from upstream, and every new fall in the run is worth more.

About this world

Spatebeck Arch

Spatebeck Arch lies at the foot of the fell, where Ermyn crosses the old packhorse bridge and stops to watch the amber water roar beneath the mist. Winning symbols are washed off the reels while the beck pours fresh ones down from above, so the multiplier on one spin can rise to x5 before the water settles. The Saddlebag Pony and the Mossy Arch carry the most value. The Mistpeak Medal wild replaces any symbol but the Banded Horn. Three horns blow for ten free spins, and the beck pays those wins twice over before each fall multiplier lifts them again; four horns blow for fifteen, five for twenty-five.

Spate Tumble. Winning symbols are swept away, the ones above drop into the gaps and new symbols fall in; the opening spin pays at x1, the second and third falls at x2 and x3, and every later fall at x5. Banded Horns are never swept away.

The honest part

Played for coins, never cash

Every spin on this page is paid for in free virtual coins. Real-money gambling plays no part, wins are worth nothing in the real world, and there are no in-app purchases. Each result is settled by a random number generator; no spin ever influences the next.

Measured by running this page's own engine for 10,000,000 spins: coin RTP 94.9%, hit frequency 34.0%, free spins about once in 138 spins, a win of 10x your stake or more about once in 81 spins. Coin figures only — no money is staked or returned.

How to play

Spatebeck Arch in three steps

1

Sign in, walk down the fell path to the packhorse bridge and choose a stake.

2

Spin. Winning symbols are swept away and the beck refills the reels from above; the first result is worth x1, the following falls x2 and then x3, and any fall beyond those x5.

3

Three Banded Horns anywhere sound for ten free spins; Ermyn doubles every win in them, then the multiplier of its fall is laid on top. A fourth horn on the rocks lifts the round to fifteen spins, a fifth to twenty-five.

Who it suits

Steady nerves who will wait out a low beck for the odd roaring run of falls.

What to expect

The widest swings on the fell. The Saddlebag Pony and the Mossy Arch are worth the most, so the beck tends to pay in sudden surges.

Questions

About Spatebeck Arch

No. The horns sit tight on the rocks while winning symbols around them are swept off.

Each free-round win is doubled first, then the multiplier of the fall that produced it is applied on top.

It is the swingiest world on the fell: the pony and the bridge hold the weight, and every spin starts from scratch, owing nothing to the spins before it.

Lingfrost Watch

Frost beads the flowering ling while Ermyn keeps her meteor vigil below the lit dome, a tartan brewflask steaming on the wall. It turns for anyone, account or not, and when a paid spin brings nothing, every Shutter Crest holds fast while the rest of the moor spins again.

Shutterwheel Midnight

Inside the dome at midnight the walnut panels glow and the great brass refractor leans out through the cranked-open shutter. If a paid spin comes up empty with two Night Logbooks lying open, reel 5 turns once more on its own, hunting for the third.
