Inside the dome at midnight the walnut panels glow and the great brass refractor leans out through the cranked-open shutter. If a paid spin comes up empty with two Night Logbooks lying open, reel 5 turns once more on its own, hunting for the third.
The reels cost nothing tonight and never will. Your page in the book keeps your 100,000 coins, favourites, level and daily missions from one clear night to the next — and is how we confirm your age, 18 or over, before your first spin.
Coins here are virtual, full stop. Real-money gambling plays no part, no prize holds real-world value and no in-app purchase exists. 18+.
Shutterwheel Midnight is the room Ermyn climbs into once the iron wheel has cranked the shutter wide, with star charts rolled on the table and a tortoiseshell cat asleep across them. The Linen Starchart and the Eyepiece Tray pay most often, while the Tortie Napper and the Great Refractor hold the weightier lines. The Frostlens Seal wild covers every symbol except the Night Logbook. A blank paid spin with exactly two logbooks in view earns reel 5 a free extra turn. Three logbooks start nine free spins that pay every win twice, four start fourteen and five twenty-two.
Last Look Through. When a paid spin returns nothing and exactly two Night Logbook scatters are showing, reel 5 alone gets one more free turn; inside the free round, wins pay double.
Every spin on this page is paid for in free virtual coins. Real-money gambling plays no part, wins are worth nothing in the real world, and there are no in-app purchases. Each result is settled by a random number generator; no spin ever influences the next.
Measured by running this page's own engine for 10,000,000 spins: coin RTP 92.9%, hit frequency 40.3%, free spins about once in 102 spins, a win of 10x your stake or more about once in 130 spins. Coin figures only — no money is staked or returned.
Sign in, climb the stone steps into the dome and pick a stake.
Spin. The Frostlens Seal wild plays any symbol except the Night Logbook; a paid spin that wins nothing with exactly two logbooks on show gives reel 5 one lone free turn.
Three Night Logbooks open nine free spins with every win counted twice; a fourth logbook stretches the round to fourteen, a fifth to twenty-two.
Patient observers who enjoy the last reel getting one more look whenever two logbooks already lie open.
Longer quiet spells than on the heather, with the doubled free round as the night the whole sky opens up.

The five card ranks (10 to A) pay the least. Three Night Logbooks anywhere open the free round. Full values for three and four of a kind are in the paytable.
Only when two things meet: a paid spin that wins nothing, and exactly two Night Logbooks in view. Then reel 5 turns one more time for free.
Yes. Once the free round begins, Ermyn doubles every win.
No. The logbook is the scatter, and the seal never replaces it.
A fresh set of missions arrives daily, and progress counts in whichever world you spin. Taking them on is optional.
Frost beads the flowering ling while Ermyn keeps her meteor vigil below the lit dome, a tartan brewflask steaming on the wall. It turns for anyone, account or not, and when a paid spin brings nothing, every Shutter Crest holds fast while the rest of the moor spins again.
Down in the valley, an old humpbacked packhorse bridge spans a peaty beck in full spate, a lantern swinging on its parapet. Winning pictures are rinsed off the reels, fresh ones tumble down from upstream, and every new fall in the run is worth more.

Only adults of 18 and over may play at Fellside Observatory. All spins use virtual coins of no monetary value, which cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged. You will find no coin shop and no payment page from the stile to the dome, no prize of real-world value is ever offered, and success here does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
